The Separett Freeze is the perfect waterless toilet solution for those who do not have access to plumbing. Not requiring any fixed installation, it can be used anywhere that has access to a power socket. It also makes disposing of the waste easier, with the entire storage of solid and liquid waste odour free by virtue of being frozen.
It works by beginning to freeze the waste as soon as it enters the storage container. This means that there is no need for ventilation or pipes or subsequent odours coming from them as the freezing mechanism effectively prohibits smells from escaping. The inner part of the freezer toilet is lined with a fully compostable bag, which can be emptied at your convenience, with the minimum of fuss.
The toilet is ready to use just one hour after plugging in. Although there is an adjustable temperature dial on the rear, you typically leave it on the default setting.
The Separett Freeze is ideally suited for use by 2-4 people. When used by 2 people, the Freeze would usually need emptying weekly. It’s also perfect for use as a temporary or secondary toilet, such as in houses that are undergoing heavy renovations or for family members who have reduced mobility and can’t easily get to the household toilet.
The contents of the Separett Freeze should be carefully composted in a suitable compost bin. We strongly recommend adding a source of carbon, such as wood shavings to create a balanced carbon:nitrogen ration to enhance the composting process.

Since Brexit, the process of selling to non-UK customers (including those in Ireland!) has changed but we don’t want our customers to pay more so we are offering to refund your customs duties and admin fees.
VAT generally evens itself out:
We reduce our price when selling to non-UK countries. This is because we don’t charge UK VAT (20%) for customers outside the UK.
The VAT rate is typically similar in other countries, around 20%, so the saving made by not paying UK VAT is generally offset by paying local VAT upon import.
Customs duty/admin fees:
Keep your receipt for customs or admin fees and send it to us. We’ll refund these extra fees back to your account.
In short…
Non-UK customers shouldn’t have to pay more for their products than our UK customers.
